What methods are there for sheet metal processing?
The sheet metal processing options are as numerous as our products. We offer thermal cutting, water jet cutting and cut-off saws as cutting options alone. We would be happy to advise you on your individual projects and requirements. Detailed information on the individual processing options can be found in the following sections.
Cutting options for sheet steel
If you are interested in flame cutting, you can draw on our wide range of options. Oxyfuel CNC, plasma CNC or laser CNC are possible. CNC stands for “Computerized Numerical Control”. Our modern machines use control technology to ensure particularly precise cutting of your sheet metal. We offer you blanks in the form of rectangles, round blanks, rings and shaped parts.
Laser cutting is particularly suitable for smaller batch sizes and is also associated with a particularly high variety of possible materials and shapes, which ultimately results in increased flexibility in production. The material is cut using a focused laser beam. Depending on the process gas and material used, a distinction is made between laser beam flame cutting and laser beam fusion cutting.
Water jet cutting is another form of processing that is gentle on the material and also precise. We offer this for our stainless steel sheets. Waterjet cutting is particularly precise, which means that any reworking, such as deburring, is avoided. This not only saves time, but also money. In this cutting process, material is removed under high pressure with the aid of a water jet and, if necessary, an abrasive. This produces precise cutting edges without any thermal stress on the material.
Classic cut-off sawing, as a further cutting option for sheet steel, is possible for all flat products.
Surface treatment and further processing options
You also have the option of having your sheets marked, surface- or heat-treated, mechanically processed or formed.
Our processing options are certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and EN 1090.
